ABOUT ME

Teaching students how to play the piano expressively is my passion. Over 40 years of teaching experience, paired with a BM and MM in Piano Performance, have given me the expertise to tailor my teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student. My goal as a teacher is to create independent musicians and lifelong lovers of music.

My studio is located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. I'm a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music through Music Teachers National Association, and an active member of state and local teacher associations. 

Inscribe Piano Studio provides a well balanced curriculum of piano instruction for all ages. Lessons focus on providing solid technical training, exposure to a wide range of repertoire, and strong music reading and rhythm skills. But most of all, students at Inscribe are led to discover how to make beautiful music.

 

Weekly lessons are comprised of individual time at the piano, and a self-directed enrichment component that includes listening activities, creative projects, and computer aided music theory instruction through games and interactive activities. Numerous performance opportunities are provided throughout the year.
